1 ½ cups Dewberries or Blackberries
2 eggs – well beaten
1 ½ cups sugar
½ cup canned milk
½ cup flour
Topping
1 stick of butter (salted)1 cup of flour
1 cup granulated sugar
Place dewberries or blackberries in the 9” unbaked pie shell. Combine sugar, eggs, flour and canned milk, mix well and pour over berries in the unbaked pie crust.
Cut into cubes the butter which is cold from the refrigerator. With your hands mix the butter, sugar and flour until crumbly. Sprinkle evenly on top of the berries and cream and bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 1 hour until crumbs are browned.
